Alexandre Dias Monteiro
Es Licenciado en Ingeniería Mecánica por el Laboratorio Nacional de Ingeniería y Tecnología Industrial de Lisboa. Actualmente es administrador ejecutivo de la Sociedad de Desarrollo Turístico de las islas de Boavista y Maio de Cabo Verde. Ha desempeñado distintos puestos de responsabilidad en el gobierno de Cabo Verde, tales como Diputado nacional, Secretario de Estado de Turismo, Comercio e Industria, asesor del Ministerio de Coordinación Económica, entre otros.
He´s graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the National Laboratory of Industrial Engineering and Technology of Lisbon. He is currently an executive director of the Tourism Development Society of the islands of Boavista and Maio in Cape Verde. He has held various positions in the government of Cape Verde, such as National Deputy Secretary of State for Tourism, Trade and Industry, an adviser to Ministry of Economic Coordination, among others.

Óscar Aguer Bayarri 
Es Doctor en Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales por la Universidad de Barcelona. Actualmente es director general de la Fundación de la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), una universidad pionera, referente y líder mundial en el ámbito del e-learning. Además, es miembro de la Junta Directiva y tesorero del 22@Network Barcelona, una organización creada para impulsar el distrito de la innovación de la ciudad de Barcelona, y también es miembro de la Comisión Tecnológica del Fútbol Club Barcelona.
He has a PhD in Economics from the University of Barcelona. He is currently the director of the Foundation of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), a pioneering university, reference and world leader in the field of e-learning. He is a member of the Board and treasurer of 22@Network Barcelona, an organization created to promote innovation district of the city of Barcelona, and also he is a member of the Technology Commission of FC Barcelona.

Ricardo García-Viana Brookes
Es Licenciado en Humanidades por la Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM) y Diplomado en Turismo por la UNED. Actualmente dirige el Master de Congresos, Convenciones y Empresas OPC de la UEM, además de ser profesor de distintas asignaturas de la Diplomatura de Turismo en dicha universidad. Su dilatada trayectoria profesional se ha desarrollado en el campo del Turismo, donde ha sido profesor, conferenciante y autor de distintas publicaciones.
He holds a degree in Humanities from the Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM) and Diploma in Tourism at the UNED. He currently directs the Master of Conferences, Conventions and Business OPC of UEM, in addition to being a teacher of various subjects in the Diploma in Tourism at the university. His professional career has developed in the field of tourism, where it has been a teacher, lecturer and author of various publications.

Pilar Parejo Bello
Ha sido consejera de Turismo y Paisaje del Cabildo de Tenerife y viceconsejera de Turismo del Gobierno de Canarias. Además ha desempeñado distintos cargos en el sector turístico tales como la presidencia de la Comisión Interadministrativa del Plan de Excelencia Turística de varias áreas de la isla de Tenerife y la dirección del Plan Insular de Embellecimiento de Tenerife, la presidencia de la Sociedad de Promoción Exterior de Tenerife y exconsejera delegada de la Sociedad PROMOTUR del Gobierno de Canarias.
She has been Minister of Tourism and Landscape of Cabildo of Tenerife and Deputy Minister of Tourism, Government of the Canary Islands. She has also held various positions in the tourism sector such as the presidence of the Commission inter-Tourism Excellence Plan in many areas of the island of Tenerife and the management of the Plan Insular de Embellecimiento de Tenerife, also the presidence of the Society for the Promotion Exterior of Tenerife and former manager director of PROMOTUR Society from the Canary Islands Government.

José Luis Esteban Penelas
Arquitecto y Urbanista. Catedrático de Proyectos Arquitectónicos de la Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de la Universidad Europea de Madrid. Ha sido arquitecto director de Proyectos Urbanos del Ayuntamiento de Madrid. Actualmente desarrolla proyectos en España, Korea y China, destacando, entre otros, el nuevo parque de Pradolongo en Madrid, o el Master Plan para la nueva ciudad de Saemangeum en Korea del Sur.
Architect and town planner. Professor of Architectural Projects of the High school of Architecture of the European University of Madrid. He has been architect project officer of the Town hall of Madrid. Nowadays he develops projects in Spain, Korea and China, emphasizing, between others, Pradolongo’s new park in Madrid, or the Master Plan for Saemangeum’s new city in Korea of the South.

Fernando Menis
Arquitecto. Desde 1981 ejerce la arquitectura en diversos equipos hasta 2004, año en el que funda Menis Arquitectos. Es profesor de Proyectos en las Universidades de Valencia y la UEM y ha sido profesor invitado en la Academia de Arte y Arquitectura Akbild, en Viena y en L’ESA de París, y ha dirigido varios Workshops. Entre sus trabajos arquitectónicos destacan el edificio de Presidencia del Gobierno de Canarias, la rehabilitación de un tanque de CEPSA para convertirlo en un espacio cultural (El Tanque) y Magma Arte y Congresos.
Architect. Since 1981 practice architecture in various companies until 2004, year in which he founds Menis Arquitectos. He is professor in the University of Valencia and the UEM, and he has given classes as teacher invited in the Academy of Art and Architecture Akbild, in Vienna and at L’ESA of París, and he has directed several Workshops.With respect to his architectural works stand out the building of Presidency of the Government of Canaries, the rehabilitation of CEPSA’s tank to turn it into a cultural space (El Tanque) and Magma, Art and Congress.

Miguel Benarroch
Licenciado en Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Lleva desde 1997 vinculado al Grupo DISA como director gerente de DISA Gas. Además, desde 2007, es también el máximo responsable del área de energías renovables de la compañía.
Anteriormente desarrolló su carrera profesional en empresas como Agroman o Mobil Oil. En esta última, trabajó durante una década llevando a cabo proyectos en España y Portugal, donde fue jefe de inversiones de su filial portuguesa.
Licensed in Engineering of Ways, Channels and Ports for the Technical University of Madrid. It takes from 1997 linked to the Group DISA as general manager of DISA Gas. In addition, from 2007, he is also the maximum responsible for the area of renewable energies of the company.
Previously he developed his professional career in companies like Agroman or Mobil Oil. In the last one, he worked during a decade carrying out projects in Spain and Portugal, where he was a chief of investments of his portuguese subsidiary.

Andreas Desai
Nace en Skellefteå, Suecia, pero ha pasado la mayor parte de su carrera profesional en Montreal (Canadá) y Dubai (Emiratos Árabes Unidos). Ha trabajado con grandes marcas como Porsche, Omniyat Properties, Dubai y WDO Estocolmo, que le han permitido adquirir un amplio conocimiento y experiencia de marketing internacional. Actualmente es el jefe de Marketing de Treehotel.
He was born in Skellefteå, Sweden but he has spent most of his professional career in Montreal (Canada) and Dubai (UAE). With a background with big brands such as Porsche, Omniyat Properties, Dubai and WDO Stockholm he has substantial international marketing knowledge and experience. He is currently the head of marketing for Treehotel.

Teresa Pacheco Osa
Licenciada en Periodismo y diplomada en Documentación por la Universidad Complutense. Ha trabajado en varios medios de comunicación y es autora y colaboradora de libros y guías sobre naturaleza y viajes. Asimismo, participa habitualmente en foros y congresos como ponente. Actualmente es editora y directora de la revista Tribuna Termal, especializada en termalismo y turismo de salud, y presidenta de la Asociación Ibérica de Termalismo y Bienestar (AITB).
Licensed in Journalism and graduate in Documentation at the Universidad Complutense. She has been employed at several mass media and she´s authoress and collaborator of nature and trips´ books. Likewise, he usually takes part in forums and congresses as referee. Nowadays she is publishing and a director of the magazine Thermal Tribune, specialized Platform in health´s tourism, and chairwoman of Asociación Ibérica de Termalismo y Bienestar (AITB).

Dulce Xerach Pérez
Es Licenciada en Derecho por la Universidad de La Laguna. Máster en Gestión de Empresas y titulada experta en Gestión Cultural. Master en Gestión Cultural por la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) y Doctora por la Universidad Europea de Madrid en Arquitectura. Experta en Patrimonio Cultural. También ha ocupado cargos de responsabilidad en la Administración Pública de Canarias. Es vicepresidenta de la Asociación de Amigos de El Tanque, dedicada a la defensa del Patrimonio Industrial.
She is licensed in Law by the University of La Laguna. Master´s degree in Management of Companies and qualified expert in Cultural Management. Master in Cultural Management for the Universitat Oberta of Catalunya (UOC) and she is also Doctor in Architecture for the European University of Madrid. Expert in Cultural Heritage. She has occupied charges of responsibility in the Public Administration of Canary Islands. She is a vice-president of the Friends’ Association of El Tanque which is dedicated to support the Industrial Heritage.

Ildefonso Ramírez
Licenciado en Geografía e Historia con Especialidad en Prehistoria y Arqueología por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Master en Arqueología por la Universidad de Granada. Es profesor de Patrimonio Cultural e Historia de la Arquitectura en la Universidad Europea de Madrid. Posee una amplia experiencia profesional en el campo de la investigación, la docencia y la difusión de la Historia y Arqueología. Actualmente dirige la empresa GEA Patrimonio, que se dedica a la gestión ambiental y del Patrimonio Histórico.
Graduated in Geography and History, Specialist in Prehistory and Archaeology from Autonomous University of Madrid. Master Degree in Archaeology by University of Granada. Lecturer of Cultural Heritage and History of Architecture at the European University of Madrid. He has extensive work experience in fields of research, teaching and diffusion of History and Archaeology. He currently heads the company GEA Heritage, dedicated to the environmental and historical Heritage.

Michael Gourion
Es licenciado en Ingeniería de Negocios, Master en Program in Total Quality Management por la The Red McCombs School of Business, de la Universidad de Texas y un Postgrado en Microeconomics of Competitiveness, ULL – Harvard Business School.
Desde 2004 es Director de REGENERING, Consultores en productividad. Además, participa como conferenciante sobre temáticas de Productividad & Sociedad en distintos foros a los que es invitado.
He is licensed in Business Engineering, Master´s degree in Program in Total Quality Management at The Red McCombs School of Business, of Texas’s University and a Postdegree in Microeconomics of Competitiveness, ULL – Harvard Business School.
He is the manager of REGENERING, Consultants in productivity since 2004. In addition, he takes part as lecturer on subject matters of Productivity and Company in different forums where he is invited.

Martín Rivero Ferrera
Es periodista y escritor. Actualmente encabeza sus propias empresas de Comunicación y Producción Cultural. Codirigió y fundó el periódico La Gaceta de Canarias y fue corresponsal en Canarias del diario El País. Entre los galardones recibidos por su trayectoria profesional destacan el Premio Canarias de Comunicación y el Premio Internacional de Periodismo Justerini & Brooks. En el sector de la producción cultural ha realizado numerosos proyectos, entre los que destaca Son Latinos Canarias, del que fue co-director.
He is a journalist and writer. Nowadays he manages his own companies of Communication and Cultural Production. He founded and co-directed La Gaceta de Canarias and he also has been correspondent in Canary Islands of the newspaper El País. According to the awards got for his professional path emphasize the Prize Canaries of Communication and the International Prize of Journalism Justerini and Brooks. In the sector of the cultural production he has realized numerous projects, between which it stands out Son Latinos Canarias as a co-manager.

Pepe Valladares
Diseñador gráfico y arquitecto, formado en la E.T.S. de Arquitectura de Barcelona. En 1996 creó Valladares Diseño y Comunicación, empresa de diseño gráfico y comunicación visual especializada en identidad corporativa, servicios de branding y estrategia y environmental design, además de packaging y diseño web.
Ha sido reconocido internacionalmente con varios premios (Good Design). También ha obtenido distinciones nacionales dadas por la Asociación Española de Profesionales del Diseño y los Premios del Diseño Gráfico Español.
Graphical designer and architect formed in the E.T.S. of Architecture of Barcelona. In 1996 he created Valladares Diseño y Comunicación, which is a company of graphical design and visual communication specialized in corporate identity, branding services and strategy and environmental design, besides packaging and web design.
He has been recognized internationally by several prizes (Good Design). He has also obtained national distinctions given by the Professionals’ Spanish Association of the Design and the Prizes of the Graphical Spanish Design.
